Indepnednece- An expectation

Inspiration
Seventy-eight years after gaining independence from colonial rule, with the expectation of self-governance, the reality remains less than stellar. Hatred, communalism, casteism, and petty politics represent just the tip of the iceberg, hinting at a deeper, flawed perception of freedom. It is high time for us to realize that celebrating Independence Day as a nostalgia won’t change anything until we accompany lessons learnt with aspirations for change.

The incident of a doctor getting raped and murdered, while she was on her night duty in Kolkata RG Kar Hospital, has shook everyone to the core. It makes us question on the relevance of our so-called independence, which we legally have but cannot enjoy!
Do we have to live in fear in order to just survive in this world draped with civility, but imbedded with evilness’ to the core?
Mother Nature and her chatters

Inspiration
In the wake of the recent Wayanad Landslide in Kerala, the immediate reaction was to hold the government accountable for not evacuating residents or acting on early warnings. However, it’s often overlooked that such events are not solely caused by natural forces or governmental oversight, but also by human actions. Our desire to explore, expand, and settle has led us to disregard the fact that Nature is a living entity with limits of tolerance. When these limits are surpassed, Nature inevitably seeks to restore balance.
Inspiration
The monsoon offers a welcome respite from the summer heat, yet when it exceeds its bounds, it is often labeled a disaster. However, I perceive it as a well-orchestrated plan to rejuvenate life in a new guise. This is akin to the human mind, which becomes saturated with thoughts, ideas, and emotions, overwhelming its capacity for clear thought. Eventually, we come to understand that this deluge was subtly preparing us to forge and foster new creations.
Much like an Oxbow Lake, which forms from an overflowing river, our minds, after a period of turmoil, can similarly become a haven for innovation and new creations.
